FreiLacke has been honoured in China, becoming one of the Top 10 coating suppliers to the wheel industry.
The Summit Forum of China Wheels in Qinhuangdao (P.R. China) brought together leading personalities in the wheel industry at a significant event, organised by the China Coating Purchasing Network and the China Association of Wheels (CAW).
This full-day event provided a platform for industry leaders, manufacturers, suppliers and competitors to have engage in exchanges and discussions on the upward and downward flows of China’s automotive and wheel industries.
FreiLacke China attended this prestigious event for the first time, a great opportunity for it to showcase its innovations and expertise in wheel coatings. Attending this event underscores FreiLacke’s commitment to expanding its presence in the Chinese wheel market and to improving its levels of collaboration with local industry stakeholders. To foster a spirit of co-operation and innovation, FreiLacke representatives held extensive discussions with wheel manufacturers (such as Sheng Wang, Dicastal or Lizhong) as well as with equipment and pre-treatment suppliers.
Gaining recognition as one of the Top 10 coating suppliers for the wheel industry in China was a particular highlight for FreiLacke China. This recognition provides evidence of FreiLacke’s commitment to quality and innovation, also reflecting the significant contribution it makes to this industrial sector. The award does more than just strengthen FreiLacke’s reputation. It also positions the company as a significant player on the highly competitive Chinese market.
Based on data provided by the CAW, China’s automotive industry continued its impressive growth trajectory, with its production output of light vehicles reaching 25.81 million units. This remarkable figure underscores China’s dominant position on the global automotive market.
The alloy wheel sector in China also saw significant activity, with more than 98 million alloy wheels produced. This high level of manufacturing output was powered by more than 200 manufacturers, including major players such as CITIC Dicastal, Lizhong, Wanfeng, Jinfei, Shengwang, Enkei and Hiho. These companies contribute significantly to the supply chain and they provide high-quality wheels for the domestic and international markets.
The synergy between this robust market for light vehicles and the dynamic alloy wheel manufacturing industry articulates the important role that China plays in the global automotive industry.
